Each week's geography topic pairs with a free Seterra map quiz — a quick, interactive way for students to practice what they're memorizing. Scan the QR code or visit the link to jump straight to the quiz. Weeks 4, 5–7, 15, and 16 don't have a Seterra match; use your memory cards and copywork map for those weeks.
At PTW, public speaking skills are engagingly developed throughout the year. Below is an overview of skills learned by age and quarter. Learning to speak in public starts with having a topic. Use a bingo card as a fun idea to pick a topic.
Public speaking is a skill built at home, not just on Tuesday. This prep sheet walks students through their presentation before co-op — from choosing a strong opening hook to knowing their main point cold. Three versions are available:
A parent-guided version for ages 4–7.
A fill-in-the-blank version for ages 8–11.
A student outline version for ages 8–11.

Base Camp is PTW's writing and grammar track for students ages 8–11, combining Claritas Fundamentum Grammar and IEW writing into a single cohesive program. Students build skills together on Tuesdays and continue the work at home throughout the week, guided by a clear scope and sequence. Download the Base Camp Parent Packet to learn how it works, what to expect, and how to get started.

Base Camp Bucks are an optional incentive to students to study the grammar and implement the IEW dress-ups for the week. Each activity and dress-up is worth $1. Keep track of the week's total, then total the bucks earned for the quarter. At the end of the quarter, we will host a Base Camp Store where children can spend their Bucks.
The Living Timeline is Base Camp's Capstone event recommended for children aged 9 through 11. Students will work throughout the first semester, learning how to summarize and fuse sources. In the third quarter, they will have an opportunity to present a chosen person during our time period. Children who are eight have the option to participate in The Living Timeline.
Optional vocabulary activities aligned according to our Scope and Sequence.
